race during speedweeks in Daytona. You can come and go throughout the race and get some rest and food. I had an opportunity in 1992 to work with Courage Competition for the whole event. At the time I was so busy with school and work at ERAU and working with them, it was insane, but it was an awesome experience. I had Yves Courage to my house for dinner with members of his race team and a few drivers. I didn't know at the time that I had some of the most prestigious drivers of the event at my home. They had arrived early from France and wanted a place to work on their cars before the race. I offered my garage at my house and a whole bunch of the team came over to check it out. But that's another story and I only wish I had a digital camera back then. I do have some misc 35mm pics that were taken while I was busy with the team. Maybe I'll see about transfering them to digital. One thing I do remember is standing in the pit lanes helping out with the car while other cars were entering and exiting the pits during practice at well over 100 mph within one lane of my ass.
